The Campaign for Cincinnati Public Radio’s New Home
Two years ago, our vision was just a dream. Last year, we purchased an old surface parking lot. In August of 2023 we broke ground, and by December 2023 we held the topping out ceremony. The structure is up and there is progress every day as we countdown the final year of construction.
We’ll keep this page up-to-date so you can track the progress and celebrate building milestones with us.

Several weeks ago, Chuck Berry and Nora Vondrell of the Charles D. Berry Foundation toured the new Cincinnati Public Radio building. The next day the Charles D. Berry Foundation donated $1 million to the Building Connections Campaign!

Rather than wrapping the building in transparent plastic sheathing, the draping material our contractor has installed is reusable and more durable, resistant to rain and sun, and a better insulator for protecting the workers inside the building from heat, cold and rain.

Contributing to the vitality of the community and its long-term future has always been inherent in the mission of Cincinnati Public Radio. When it was time to build our new home, we sought a forward-looking building that valued environmental sustainability as well as wellness.
