We are thrilled with the progress at CPR’s new building! The tarps are slowly coming down as the glass panes go up. For our architects at emersion Design, it’s the first time they’ve seen the project come to life from what they designed several years ago. They presented the idea of a mass timber building and CPR chose SKANSKA to take those plans and build the first mass timber building in the city.
The building itself is visually stunning, but we’re just as excited about everything we will be able to do in this new home. We’re already planning for events, debates and concerts in our gathering space and performance studio. This new space will allow us to do more than just broadcast out. We can bring the community in.
We hope to flip the switch and begin broadcasting from our new home in Evanston by April 2025. Check back for more updates and tour information in the months ahead.
