CPR’s Podcast Booth is open to the public free-of-charge for professional quality podcast recordings. The 105 square foot studio space was designed by the Walters-Storyk Design Group and features two Shure SM7B dynamic cardioid microphones and Sennheiser HD280 headphone monitors. Studio users can opt to record their podcast with our in-studio computer and Stratos mixing console or bring in their own laptop and connect to our microphones via a Scarlett 2i2 Focusrite interface. The studio was named after the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, honoring their contribution for making this project open and free to Cincinnati Public Radio’s listening audience.
