The 25 Club

Our Building Connections campaign is the first capital campaign in Cincinnati Public Radio’s 60+ year history and we have less than $10 million to raise to meet our overall goal of $32 million.

Members of the 25 Club donate $25,000 to the campaign—$5,000 a year for 5 years in support of Cincinnati Public Radio’s new home on Dana Avenue.

We moved into this permanent facilty for WVXU and WGUC in April and immediately welcomed more than 2,000 guests in for more than 22 performances during our 5-day Welcome Weekend event.

Your 25 Club gift helps CPR activate this new space. WVXU and WGUC connect our community by amplifying the arts and providing reliable local, regional and national news. In this new home CPR will also be able to engage with the community by hosting concerts, live broadcasts, debates and educational outreach programs.

In just the first two months on Dana Avenue we hosted our first live Cincinnati Edition broadcast with an audience, and our friends at The Greater Cincinnati Foundation and Cincinnati International Wine Festival have hosted events in our new building. Plus, we have a list of 40+ more who would like to do the same.

Committing to a permanent home for these local public radio stations is part our strategic plan to secure a strong future for 90.9 WGUC, 91.7 WVXU and 88.5 WMUB. With funding sources in question, creating new ways to connect with the community (and new revenue streams to sustain the stations) is our first priority.

CPR’s Board Chair Mu Sinclaire launched this program in March by making his own additional gift of $25,000, and as of the end of May we had 9 more new members. Join them by making your own gift to support the next chapter of public radio in Cincinnati.

We would be honored to give you a tour of the new building at your convenience. Please contact Conrad Thiede at 513-419-7116 or cthiede@cinradio.org to schedule a date. Thank you.
