VIDEO: See Our New Location From The Air

You may not know where Cincinnati Public Radio studios are located, but it’s not your fault.  We’ve been renting space on the second floor of the brown bunker-like building on Central Parkway behind Music Hall since 1980.  The entrance is not on the ground floor, our signage is high above the street and no longer illuminated, the parking is challenging at best and the entrance takes a while to find.

Now picture the opposite – green space, loads of free parking, a welcoming glass enclosed building on street level with a large Cincinnati Public Radio logo. Located off the I-71 Dana exit, we’ll be close to Xavier University, Wasson Way, and Rookwood; but the best part is CPR will be part of the Evanston neighborhood and with this new building we’ll have plenty of room for outreach events for Classics for Kids® and Democracy & Me, music concerts, live broadcasts, debates and events with fellow non-profits. We’ve already talked with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission about plans for events in the park next door.

Looking at our plans for the building reminds us of how much we are looking forward to the big plans for community events and programs starting in the spring of 2025!
