The Ohio Newsroom Reaches 100th Episode Milestone

Monday, October 30th marked the 100th episode of Today from The Ohio Newsroom, a bold collaboration among Ohio’s public radio stations.  This milestone underscores our daily collective dedication to enhancing local journalism and investing in coverage across the state for the benefit of all Ohioans. Today from The Ohio Newsroom brings to light often-underreported stories, fostering neighborly connections and shared understanding among communities statewide.  We celebrate this 100th-episode milestone and look forward to hundreds more illuminating stories of Ohio’s people and places.

“Ohio’s public media institutions are leading the way to fill the gaps in local news coverage.  We are adding reporting, expanding our reach, and fulfilling our mission.  The vision and efforts of The Ohio Newsroom consortium of stations: WYSO, WYSU, WCSU, WGTE, WOSU, Cincinnati Public Radio, and Ideastream Public Media represent a growing commitment to expanded public service for all Ohioans,” says Wendy Turner, General Manager Ohio Public Media Services.

The Ohio Newsroom is supported by a grant from The James W. and Anne H. S. Nethercott – Public Media and Responsible Journalism Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
