Ted and Dixie Karas have been making music in Cincinnati for decades. Their band, AIRWAVE, is a favorite at Jeff Ruby’s, Carlo and Johnny’s, weddings, churches, corporate events and festivals. The Dixie Karas Quintet has performed at Washington Park’s Monday night Jazz Series, as has Ted’s band The Meteorites, with musical sons, Adrian and Andrew. Ted and Dixie truly enjoy the opportunity to break it down to the basics, performing acoustic guitar and vocal music in WGUC’s Corbett Studio on Music Monday.
