Experience

Pam is a singer and a songwriter.  She was born and raised in Cincinnati, where she started performing music and sang with May Festival Chorus. Pam attended The Ohio State University, where she sang with the Columbus Symphony Chorus and graduated with a BS in Occupational Therapy and a minor in music performance.  To avoid getting a “straight” job, she joined the Peace Corps (Costa Rica’ 92-’94), where she sang with the Costa Rican National Symphony Chorus. Upon her return to the States, she formed a band with her husband and started performing her songs with their award-winning American Roots group, Wild Carrot.  She was the long-time Evening Music host, Studio 89 host, and Front Porch Americana music show host on the gone-but-not-forgotten WNKU radio station. When not making music or facilitating creative writing sessions for Women Writing for (a) Change, she can be heard as an on-air evening and weekend host on NPR affiliate radio station, 91.7FM WVXU and as a sub on 90.9 WGUC Classical. Pam also volunteers for Cincinnati Lab Rescue and has three rescue dogs and one rescue cat.

Education
