Experience

Michael started in radio at WVXU in 1985 when it was still in a basement at Xavier University; since then, he has been morning host and program director at WARM 98; KLJZ, New Orleans; and, most notably, WNKU here in Greater Cincinnati. He also created and hosted Cincinnati After Dark on WARM 98 with WGUC’s Frank Johnson -which evolved into Smooth Jazz Saturday Night.

After “retiring” from WNKU, he returned part-time to WVXU and now to WGUC.

Unrelated to radio, he spent 15 years in ministry, has sold over 1000 photographs for publication, and is also an award-winning stained glass artist and a singer-songwriter.
