Experience

As Cincinnati Public Radio’s Chief Financial Officer, Dan oversees financial operations. He collaborates closely with the executive team and board of directors to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. His role involves managing budgets, optimizing financial resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.  

Before joining Cincinnati Public Radio in 2022, Dan worked in the advertising and media industry as the Vice President of Finance at Empower Media Marketing, Inc., a local independent advertising agency focused on media planning and buying.   

Dan got his start in accounting while working as an external auditor and consultant for BKD, LLP (now FORVIS), in both Evansville, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio. Dan primarily provided accounting, assurance, and audit services to clients within the financial services industry. 

Education

Dan is a magna cum laude graduate from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management of Information Systems, and Accounting. Dan was also a member of the college’s soccer team and the Alpha Chi Society.
